Most of what I see seems to be people talking like they are IN their daydreams, usually the main character in some idealized form. In fact many of the papers I've read have referenced the "idealized-self". But I'm not in mine, ideal or otherwise.
Anyone else not in your own daydreams?

I have the ability and sometimes feel pleasure when I daydream about other people who are indirectly involved with me. But I don't do it very often. In fact, rarely. For me, it's sort of like going to a concert recital of one of your family or friends. You don't really want to go, but you feel a bit of pride that you know the person who is taking part.
Do you find it easier to talk about the fact you MD with people in your day-to-day life because you're not in the daydreams? For me, I'm mortified to lead on what I daydream about simply because it does involve me, making it more personal and ridiculous.
